Air movement, dehumidification, equipment monitoring, and moisture documentation support the drying plan. Repairs or reconstruction are included only when specified in the written scope.
Planning a St. Louis-area restoration project
When contacting us about a St. Louis or St. Charles basement, describe whether the water followed rainfall, a plumbing leak, a sump issue, or a sewer backup. Also note finished rooms, stored contents, stairs or other access limitations, and whether water is still entering. These are assessment details, not a diagnosis of the cause.
Clarify the scope before work
Discuss access, affected contents, removal, drying, cleaning, and any included repairs before authorizing work. The written scope should distinguish restoration from separate source repairs, reconstruction, or requested testing.
If mold remediation is needed, Eversafe uses a source-removal approach consistent with applicable ANSI/IICRC S520 principles. Post-remediation testing is not automatically included in the standard mold remediation scope or price. When specifically requested or required, testing or verification may be separately coordinated; independent findings remain separate from Eversafe's work.

Project Planning Questions
Does water removal also fix the source of the flooding?
Water extraction and drying do not by themselves correct an ongoing leak, drainage issue, or sewer problem. Source correction and any repair responsibilities should be identified when the scope is agreed.
Can you save carpet, drywall, or stored contents?
Decisions depend on the material, water conditions, exposure, and project requirements. Eversafe does not promise that every item or finish can be retained.
Is basement reconstruction included?
Only if included in the agreed written scope. Discuss removal, drying, repair, and replacement separately so the estimate reflects the authorized work.
Can you help with an insurance claim?
Eversafe can provide estimates, photographs, moisture documentation, invoices, drying records, and other supporting documentation. Coverage and payment remain subject to the policy and carrier determination. Deductibles, exclusions, limits, non-covered work, and other policy provisions may affect the customer's responsibility.
